Do You Ever Really Notice?

Do you ever really notice,
That that star in the sky,
Twinkled a little brighter,
When you went walking by?
And what about that guy,
That always waits for you,
To help open your locker,
And hold your books too?
Do you ever really notice,
That when your given a chance,
To take a shortcut to,
What you'll never get back?
Do you ever really notice,
That you have a friend?
You hang around her puzzled,
But that will never end.
Do you ever really notice,
That you don't get what you want?
Destiny deals the cards,
You got the bad one that sits on top.
Never did you notice,
That life comes at you with grace.
Your life is very short,
You keep your run to a pace.
Seldom do you notice,
That you make the wrong choice.
Your parents just fix it,
And you go on with rejoice.
Now what you DO notice,
Is that you have feelings.
Never find yourself in a perfect position,
And your head's as high as the ceiling.
So just notice that I'm here,
Come to me with trouble,
I'll work it out,
I'll be there on the double.
